Thanks for the mention, the article at Dosh Dosh really struck a chord with me as well, blog commenting says something about who you are - it’s not just about getting a few links to you site by saying “great job”.
Now if only I could influence the senders of the 450+ comments in my akismet spam queue to feel the same!!!!

Caroline Middlebrook’s article was the first article that I read that really made me look at blog commenting as a strategy. Dosh Dosh wrote an excellent follow-up, but I strongly recommend Caroline’s article. Problogger.net has some very good articles on the topic as well.
